BE Vegan vzw is the Belgian vegan association founded on November 1, 2014 and aims to promote veganism and to unite and assist vegans. Through numerous actions and campaigns, we ensure that a vegan lifestyle becomes more accessible and simpler, while at the same time more and more people know what veganism means. In this way we actively contribute to an animal, people and environmentally friendly society.
EVA has today become the second largest vegetarian organization in Europe. The team was expanded to 12 people, we work with more than 500 volunteers and since 2013 we have been in a beautiful large building in the Steendam in Ghent that we have transformed into the first Veggiehuis in Belgium.
Thanks in part to the success of campaigns such as Thursday Veggie Day, more and more people in Flanders and Brussels regularly eat vegetarian food. 1 in 2 Flemish people say they want to eat less meat in the future. We see it as one of our main tasks to make it as easy as possible for that large group of people to put those good intentions into practice.

In New England, I started dancing and became vegan. Later, I returned to New England to earn a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Smith College.
In Chicago, I worked professionally as a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and performer.
In Portugal, I continued my dance work. I also worked on a permaculture farm: building ecological dwellings, establishing a food forest, and participating in a zero-waste lifestyle.
In Belgium, I continued dancing & practicing sustainability. I gave birth to my 2 children, earned a certificate in plant-based nutrition, and began healthcoaching professionally.

Animal Rights is a foundation in the Netherlands and a non-profit association (vzw) in Belgium. The foundation was founded on January 16, 2009 by Robert Molenaar as an action group against animal testing. Since 2015, we have been running the following campaigns: Get rid of fur , Ban hunting , Stop slaughter , Replace animal testing and Plant Power . The association was founded in Belgium in 2015.
Forrest & Friends is an animal sanctuary. This means that we take care of animals and give them a long and happy life!
Our animals are ex-industry animals, animals from neglect, confiscated animals and animals given away by their previous owners.
We take care of grazing animals, these are: Pigs, chickens, sheep, goats, ponies, cattle, pigeons and turkeys.
We challenge decision-makers to bring about positive change, and deliver coordinated advocacy and campaigns at EU level.

Our mission
As the pan-European animal advocacy organisation, the primary focus of Eurogroup for Animals is to improve the well-being of as many animals as possible and defend animalsโ interests. We do this by achieving better legislation, standards, enforcement and societal attitudes, through a united community of animal protection organisations and via lawful means.
